"Vytautas Didysis"
("Vytautas the Great")

Meeting near the Vytautas Tower of the participants of the Lithuanian television project "National Expedition", who traveled on the Dnieper on wooden ship "Vytautas Didysis" ("Vytautas the Great") from June 22 to July 12, 2018. Famous Lithuanian historians, journalists, representatives of show business traveled with the aim of telling Lithuanians about modern life in Ukraine, about its natural, architectural and cultural richness.

 

Ukrainians led by Natalya-Danute Antano Bimbiraite, the head of the Ukrainian-Lithuania Cultural Center, meet the Lithuanians near the Tower. This day we remember as the real celebration of history with historical reconstruction of costumes and tasting of medieval cuisine, with songs and hugs, with friendly competitions and photo sessions.
