"Ritual" is the artwork about sacrifice. Rituals of sacrificing something present in all cultures; for example, in Christianity it was a tithe for church. At all times, people have felt that in order to have something, you have to give something at first.

This artwork resonated with the feelings of the archaeological expedition participants due to the fact that the majority of them are volunteers who came to the Tyagin by their own expense. They give their time, energy, and money in order to receive not only a unique experience, but also something truly greater – the restored history of medieval Ukraine.
