Nut/Not war

Performance. Artist scatters walnut kernels on the ground in the urban space of Lviv and marks it as "nuclear war" (“kernel” and “nucleus” sound the same in Ukrainian). Thus, "nuclear war" is not what the russian propaganda led by Putin promises, but the scattering of walnut kernels in Lviv. This artwork is an attempt to find an escape from the myth of nuclear war pedaled by russia, an escape from the anxiety in which not only Ukrainians live, but also the whole world. "War of nuts" instead of "War of weapons" is an artistic counter-mythologizing, because the mythology of the nuclear/walnut kernels war makes visible the mythology of PSYOPS (Psychological Operations) built around nuclear threats.
